Emily Bourne, MCSP, MAACP

Emily is the company director and our practice principle. She has over 14 years' experience in a wide range of roles, both in the NHS, private practice and sporting settings. Emily continues to work part time in the NHS operating within local GP practices in a musculoskeletal advanced clinical practitioner role. This role makes Emily highly skilled in triage, assessment and diagnostics.

Emily's private practice work has predominently been in New Zealand, where she lived for 5 years. In her time overseas, Emily specialised in musculoskeletal (MSK), sports rehab and occupational health rehab (vocational rehaab). She also has extensive experience working with football and rugby players during roles at Fulham FC, New Zealand Football and Tawa Rugby club (NZ), however she enjoys working with a variety of different sports. Her sporting experience has made her a skilled clinician in the acute assessment of injuries as well as gaining expertise in movement screening and injury management.

She has gained post-graduate level training in manual therapy, acupuncture and cancer rehabilitation, and holds Masters degree modules in MSK advanced clinical practice. In her non-clinical time she is a busy mum of two, enjoys listening to jazz and going rock climbing.


Anne Monk, MCSP

Anne qualified from St Mary's Paddington and has over 30 years experience in both the NHS and private sector. Her expertise is on the diagnosis, management and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly spinal, shoulder and lower limb rehabilitation. She also has extensive experience in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions including post-operative surgery rehab and those that require conservative management. When working with clients, Anne combines her post-grad training skills in hands-on manual therapy and exercise rehab with a whole person approach to her Physiotherapy.

Anne also runs a fitness and rehabilitation class available for Trinity Physiotherapy clients. This is a 1 hour session and consists of circuit based exercises that combines strengthening, mobility and core exercises. Attendees must have had an initial assessment before booking onto the class. Anne's interests are all things sporting, particularly running, netball, tennis and horse riding.


Lauren Betts-Bucke, MCSP

Lauren is an experienced Physiotherapist having qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2011. She has extensive experience in treating a range of MSK conditions, with a special interest in spinal pain and lower limb injuries. Lauren continues to work part time in the NHS as an advanced clinical practitioner, allowing her to excel in diagnostic skills. Lauren also has post-graduate skills in acupuncture and manual therapy.

Lauren is our resident weightlifting expert, a sport which she enjoys, along with athletics. In her spare time, Lauren is busy with her young family, baking or relaxing with a book.


Ali Sawyer, MCSP

Ali joins the team at Trinity Physio as our specialist pelvic health physio. Having graduated from St George’s University in 2008, Ali has worked in a variety of settings, both NHS and private. Ali is currently a clinical specialist Physiotherapist at St Peter's Hospital. Having worked with a wide variety of MSK and obstetric patients over the years, for the past 4 years, Ali has been specialising in Urogynaecology and Pelvic Pain patients for the hospital.

Her post-graduate skills in manual therapy and acupuncture make Ali a versatile clinician. She is passionate about enabling her patients to meet their rehabilitation potential but also about giving preventative advice to help reduce symptoms developing later on in life.
