Background & Qualifications

Sara qualified from the University of Southampton in 2012 and has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy throughout her career. She has been part of the Trinity Physiotherapy team since 2024, working part-time alongside her full-time NHS role as an MSK Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, where she leads on training and education for other physiotherapy colleagues. This gives her extensive experience in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Sara is currently completing an MA in Education for Healthcare Professionals at the University of Surrey, and has presented at national conferences on the education programmes she has implemented. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Sports Injury & Rugby Experience

Sara has a particular interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation. She has over 10 years' experience working within rugby, including as Head Physiotherapist for a National One rugby club. This experience has given her advanced skills in acute injury assessment, injury management, strength and conditioning, and helping athletes safely return to sport following injury.

Post-Operative Rehabilitation

In addition to sporting injuries, Sara has considerable experience supporting people through post-operative rehabilitation and helping them regain strength, mobility and confidence after surgery. She enjoys working with active individuals but is equally passionate about helping people return to the activities that matter most to them, whether that is competitive sport, exercise or everyday life.

Treatment Approach

Sara takes a practical and goal-focused approach to physiotherapy, combining evidence-based treatment with personalised rehabilitation programmes to help people achieve lasting results and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Outside the Clinic

Outside of work, Sara leads an active lifestyle and has a passion for sport. She spends her time cycling and trail running around the Surrey Hills, and skiing in the winter.
